 JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Student Experience & Product is a strategic product owner and an education-focused leader responsible for leading the design, development, and quality implementation of Think Together's core and enrichment learning programs to change the odds for kids. This role directly supports organizational leadership in defining an agile product model that prioritizes customer experience, academic achievement, and social-emotional growth. The position requires a deep market intelligence understanding of K–12 learning frameworks, enrichment of best practices, and scalable product design for diverse learning environments.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
• Lead defining Think Together's product vision, strategy, and execution for educational program offerings, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission to provide quality end-to-end engagement.
• Ensure that all offerings align with the organization's mission, drive measurable educational impact, and deliver exceptional experiences for students, educators, district partners, and donors.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define an agile approach to product delivery, design, and evaluation, ensuring the creation of measurable outcomes and product success metrics.
• Champion equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all product design principles.
• Drive innovation in learning methodologies, technologies, and modalities to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Product Design & Development
• Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of inclusive enrichment curriculum across multiple disciplines, utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to guide product improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Programs, Technology, Program Quality & Compliance, Marketing, and external stakeholders to develop scalable, student-centered solutions that advance organizational goals.
• Maintain evidence-based, inclusive, and scalable product models that effectively address the varied needs of diverse student groups.
• Integrate innovative teaching strategies, technology-supported learning, and culturally responsive pedagogical frameworks into all product offerings.

Leadership, Strategy & Capacity Building
• Determine vision, strategy and long-range goals, overseeing major budgets, fiscal strategy and resource allocation at scale.
• Drive organizational performance, culture, and structural direction.
• Guide, influence, and inspire others to achieve the organization’s mission and long-term strategic objectives.
• Manage a team of professionals who directly contribute to product design and curriculum content.
• Foster professional growth and mentorship across the enrichment program staff.
• Cultivate collaboration across departments, including evaluation, operations, and community partnership teams.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
• Establish data-informed processes to identify gaps, optimize product, and inform strategic decisions, as well as to continuously assess product effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
• Use research, assessment results, and stakeholder feedback to refine product and enhance impact.
• Guide pilot initiatives and scale proven enrichment program models organization wide.
• Define quality standards for instructional design, content development, and product delivery; monitor metrics, assessments, and feedback to measure impact and return on investment.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as a thought leader, representing Think Together at educational conferences, community advisory boards, and industry partnerships.
• Collaborate with schools, community partners, and families to ensure product meet local needs and educational standards.
• Communicate product vision, outcomes, and impact to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to ensure programs address stakeholder needs, support a modern learning environment, and provide consistent application of best practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in education or business with Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, Business, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience in K–12 program design, enrichment education, or learning innovation.
• Proven success in managing large-scale, multi-site education product with demonstrable impact metrics.
• Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, instructional design, learning program evaluation, and pedagogical innovation.
• Visionary leadership with strong strategic planning capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of enrichment programming, curriculum development, and social-emotional learning frameworks.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams of professionals focused on instructional design, content development, and program management.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with experience in using data to drive program decisions.
• Passion for equity, youth empowerment, and educational excellence.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Moderate Noise (examples: typical office noise)
• Stand, Walk, Sit (in general office environment)
• Computer Screen visual in performance of role
• Lift up to 10 pounds
• Travel up to 10-20%
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting), provide a clear TB test.
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.
• While driving is not a regular requirement of this role, employees who operate a personal or company vehicle for work purposes must maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance on file with HR.

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary Range $210K-$230K

This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
