JOB SUMMARY:
The Staff Lead is the on-site lead of a Think Together specialized program operated on a partner school campus. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day program operations at a single site, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with organizational and school district guidelines. This role supports a positive student experience and fosters effective communication with school staff, parents, and internal team members.
The role directly supervises site-level program staff, manages student attendance and data, and serves as the primary liaison between Think Together and the school community. This position requires hands-on coordination of daily logistics and a strong focus on student engagement, program quality, and staff support. Program schedules may include after-school hours and non-instructional days (e.g., summer, spring, and winter breaks).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises successful day-to-day site operations. Ensures that all interactions with internal and external stakeholders operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Think Together and align with the four core agreements:
1) Be responsible

3) Be safe and 4) Have fun
• Directly oversee and support site-level staff. Provide coaching, reinforce training, and ensure consistent implementation of routines, strategies, and behavior expectations.
• Ensure Student Safety and Positive Experience: Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff. Respond to incidents promptly and follow safety protocols. Promote engagement and positive behavior throughout program activities.
• Staff Hiring and Performance: Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of site staff. Make recommendations regarding training, discipline, and termination in accordance with HR policies.
• Data and Compliance: Accurately track student attendance and enrollment. Maintain complete and timely program records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Think Together and district policies.
• School and Family Communication: Serve as the primary on-site contact for school personnel, parents, and other stakeholders. Maintain regular communication with the school principal and faculty to align goals and address student needs.
• Program Quality and Metrics: Monitor student participation, behavior, and learning outcomes. Use data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Meet required program metrics and deliverables.
• Administrative Duties: Ensure timely submission of staff timecards and accurate timekeeping.
Attend required virtual or in-person meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Additional Duties: Step into direct service roles when needed to support program continuity. Fulfill other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA) highly preferred
• Combination of education and experience related to position, with increasing responsibility, which may include however, not limited to:
• 1-2 years of experience working in education/youth programs
• At least 1+ year in a supervisory position is required and 2+ years highly preferred
• Previous classroom experience required. Must meet the minimum qualifications set by the partner district for a classroom instructional aide.
• Strong ability to communicate with students, parents, school staff and faculty both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual / Bi-cultural (Spanish) may apply in some district.
• Excellent program management skills, including demonstrated record of completing tasks on time.
• CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within first 60 days of hire.
• Satisfactory TB skin test.
• Passing background check (DOJ & FBI).

• Proficiency in speaking and writing Standard English; bilingual ability a plus
• Familiarity with data systems, email, and digital documentation tools

PHYSICAL/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Largely spent in a school environment with teachers, principal, support staff and students.
• Moderate noise (typical school noise with children at play) Physical demands:
• Some of the physical demands of the job include extensive standing, walking, sitting, using hands and arms for reaching and handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and occasional lifting of up to twenty -five (25) pounds. Vision Requirements:
• Able to read printed and electronically displayed materials.
• Computer Screen visual in performance of role.
• Travel up to 10-20%
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting), provide a clear TB test.
• Reliable transportation is required to meet the needs of the position.
• While driving is not a regular requirement of this role, employees who operate a personal or company vehicle for work purposes must maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance on file with HR.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to travel to off-site meetings, training sessions, and events.
• Ability to speak or write a language (Spanish, Vietnamese) other than English is helpful.
• Eligible to accept assignments.
