JOB SUMMARY:
The Learning Experience Design Specialist will report to the Learning Experience Design Lead. As a strategic individual contributor and core member of the Organizational Development and Learning & Development Department, you will assist in the design of learning content with key stakeholders to ensure that planning and design of content to develop talent across the organization. The Learning Experience Design Specialist will collaborate with the Talent Development and Learning team and the Organization Development team to assist with the design of courses, updating content and materials to ensure relevance, engagement, and timeliness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the development and design of various learning experiences.
• Holds a strong understanding of learning design and adult learning principles to ensure professional development and learning experiences are high quality.
• Assists in the design of formal and informal learning experiences using trainings, learner guides, and engagement strategies.
• Develop appropriate instructional materials in collaboration with the Learning Experience Design Lead in a relevant, meaningful, engaging, and effective way for defined audiences.
• Ensures that learning experiences are rooted in evidence-based decision making.
• Assist in the design and facilitation of a variety of engaging learning experiences such as online courses, in-person workshops, and blended solutions to ensure learning is accessible and impactful for diverse audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years in learning experience design or instructional design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Education Technology, or related field
• Proven expertise in designing and developing learning content for both online and inperson formats.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
• Strong project management skills focused on the delivery of high-quality learning products on time.
• Effectively collaborate across the team to ensure project management and work is accomplished effectively.
• Excellent facilitation skills with experience leading engaging and effective training sessions.
• Highly skilled communicator and collaborator who is capable of working effectively across the team.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Intermediate level experience with Project Management Software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Adobe
• File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)
• Email, internet, website, and social media platforms
• Use of typical office equipment

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting), provide a clear TB test.
 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary Range $70K-$75K

This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
