Finance & Reporting Analyst
JOB SUMMARY: Under general guidance and supervision of the Finance Business Partner, the Finance & Reporting Analyst (FRA) primarily supports with duties to facilitate the strategic partnership between the Finance & Accounting team and regional operations, including but not limited to ensuring accuracy of data within all applicable systems, assisting with forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting, and providing general finance support to assigned business unit(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Finance Business Partner in the development of new business proposal requests, reviewing proposals/contracts/MOUs, ensuring that proper accounting codes are assigned, and developing fiscal plans for new business/projects.
• Ensure all contracted and proposed business is input into Salesforce in a timely manner and accurately updated as needed.
• Monitor program start and stop dates to inform invoicing triggers.
• Coordinate with Accounting to ensure proper and timely invoicing.
• Support, as needed, to ensure timely payment collection.
• Support in the development of annual operating plans/budgets and update as required to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and established goals.
• Support the Finance & Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end close, including regular auditing of financial transactions and facilitation of corrections.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and fiscal projections.
• Generate and distribute monthly fiscal reports.
• Generate and distribute other operational reports as needed.
• Assist in the development of new reports and analysis to support assigned business unit(s), as needed.
• Collaborate with FP&A team to share best practices, discuss challenges, and ensure efficient operations.
• Provide support to ensure grant compliance, as applicable.
• Prepare quarterly/annual agency fiscal grant reporting, as applicable.
• Participate in regular strategic and operational meetings with regional leadership.
• Provide support for fiscal management training to regional leadership as needed.
• Assist in the collection and organization of documentation to support annual audit.
• Act as point of contact/support for all Finance & Accounting needs within assigned business unit(s), to address questions/issues related to internal policies/procedures, AP, AR, credit cards, payroll, and other day-to-day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL TRAITS:
• 1-2 years relevant business experience
• Experience with non-profit, education, and/or grant compliance is preferred
• Ability to thrive in an evolving and dynamic work environment

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Desirable: Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Salesforce, and Vena
COMPENSATION:
Hourly Pay Range $32.00-$33.65
This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
