As the Campus Recruiting Manager, you play a key role in supporting the strategic direction with college and university partners, both on-campus and virtually, including building relationships with key academic stakeholders and attending events statewide. The Campus Recruiting Manager partners closely with the Talent Acquisition Business Partners to identify key plays and college partnership opportunities that align with business needs and drive top-of-funnel talent for the organization. Additionally, this role manages specific reporting tools to track new hires and attrition rates to ensure data-driven decision-making.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment Strategy Development & Implementation
• Develop and drive recruitment strategies with identified colleges and universities to generate a strong pipeline for organizational roles. May also consider other local community organizations such as a Chamber of Commerce, etc.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key academic stakeholders including, but not limited to, student services, professors, and department heads.
• Partner with the Talent Operations Leads on hiring events and job fairs to ensure ample coverage.
• Liaise and follow up with college/university contacts in person, via email and/or telephone to establish and maintain effective partnerships.
• Document interactions in a timely manner to give visibility to partner status.
• Track all activities in accordance with metrics to ensure data-driven decision making.
• Utilize reports to make recommendations on future events and partnerships.
• Other recruitment strategy development and implementation duties as assigned.
Event Management
• Plan and manage a calendar of college events, including presentations, career fairs and orientations statewide.
• Make recommendations to Director, Strategic Initiatives on event, partnership, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate on-campus and virtual college events to enhance brand awareness, expand the candidate pool and position the organization and all sub-brands as an employer of choice for college students.
• In partnership with the TA Operations Lead and Talent Acquisition Business Partner, ensure coverage for all events.
• Support each area with supplies needed for tabling at events.
• Partner with the Director, Strategic Initiatives to make recommendations and place orders for each area’s tabling needs.
• Track all event-related data (attendees, sign-ups, conversions to hires, etc.) and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with key takeaways noted.
• Other event duties as assigned.
Collaboration
• Build and maintain internal relationships with Think Together stakeholders to serve as a recruitment ambassador, ensuring alignment between organizational needs and campus recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to explore and implement new tools, techniques, and technologies for attracting and acquiring top talent.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Marketing Manager to develop promotional and recruitment campaigns, including the creation of marketing materials related to college and community recruitment.
• Other collaboration duties as assigned.
Administrative
• Review and input resumes into the Applicant Tracking System from varying college/university websites such as Handshake or job boards.
• Update campus recruitment reports as requested by Director, Strategic Initiatives
• Input candidates from campus/community events into the ATS.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in campus recruiting, talent acquisition or related field.
• Experience in managing relationships with educational institutions and executing recruitment strategies.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in utilizing recruitment tools and technologies, including an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or a CRM system.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and best practices.
• Strong analytical
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting). • Satisfactory Tuberculosis Test
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meet and/or exceed recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs) as assigned.
• Maintains highest levels of confidentiality and discretion.
• Attends staff, program and department meetings as required.
• Attend in-person leadership and team meetings as required.
• Completes other tasks as assigned.
