JOB SUMMARY:
In 2024, Think Together completed a 5-year impact strategic plan that identifies a set of conditions for equity driven school systems required to achieve the organization’s vision. Think Together is leveraging its expanded learning core business to build a flywheel powered by innovation and technology. Initiatives in Think’s Impact Portfolio will enable the organization to test, learn and demonstrate what it takes to build the conditions of equity-driven school systems at scale.We’re seeking a strong product designer to join our first product squad building AI-powered tools for Education.We believe in empowered product teams, where each squad is accountable to outcomes rather than outputs. This means that while shipping features is required, it’s not sufficient. To succeed, you’ll need a strong sense of product discovery to find solutions that solve real problems for our customers and business, and the ability to lead the team to deliver those solutions to the market.
 
You’ll sit squarely in the center of design, engineering, and the business (as a peer individual contributor) to lead a cross-functional product team to achieve these ends. Each of these disciplines are specialists, who own a specific type of product risk, but we look for product managers who’re generalists and can connect and collaborate across the organization. We’re strong proponents of prototype-driven, iterative work to understand risk early in the process, validate our hypotheses, and course-correct as we continue to learn from real users.The Product Manager must also contribute a deep knowledge of our users, customers, and prospects, and the data about how our customers engage with our products.
We expect our PMs to build strong, evidence-based cases to drive their team’s prioritization and to strike
the right balance between validating unknowns and moving quickly.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead a cross-functional product team through the full product lifecycle — from discovery through delivery — to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Drive product discovery efforts by gathering qualitative and quantitative insights from users, internal teams, and the market to inform direction.
  • Define clear, evidence-based product goals and success metrics, aligned with organizational priorities and user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and engineers to explore solution spaces, validate hypotheses, and deliver thoughtful, scalable experiences.
  • Champion an iterative, prototype-driven approach to product development, reducing risk through early and frequent learning.
  • Balance long-term vision with short-term execution, continuously prioritizing to maximize
  • Synthesize insights into product requirements, user stories, and artifacts that support shared understanding across teams.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, aligning stakeholders and influencing decisions through compelling storytelling and data-informed narratives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of users, customers, and business systems that shape product opportunities and constraints.
  • Monitor product performance and user engagement post-launch to inform future development and iteration.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • 5+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using soundjudgment to assess risks.
  • Strong communication Especially the ability to write a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive, productive, and collaborative way.

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:
• Must pass Live Scan (Criminal Background Check via fingerprinting).
• Provide and maintain a clear TB test throughout employment.

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary $150,000

 This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
