JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Learning & Development Lead, the Program Trainer, Induction primarily engages with Learning & Development (L&D) Team within the Organizational Development and Learning and Development (OD/L&D) Department. Under the supervision of a Senior L&D Facilitator, the Program Induction Trainer will use their skills to deliver program induction training to field staff in-person at Think Together’s regional hubs to ensure high-quality programs and services to change the odds for kids. From a collaborative lens, this person will be facilitating learning with recently hired field staff and working with the L&D team to modify content and refine facilitation design. The person in this role will work closely with staff and managers providing support to the Program & Operations Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Delivers key Think Together staff training that includes new hire induction and field-level training, in collaboration with Senior L&D Facilitators, L&D Facilitators, and L&D Manager. This position will focus primarily on the delivery of Program Induction.
• Coordinate program induction training needs with program and operations departments.
• Ensure that all training is aligned to Think Together goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with Senior L&D Facilitators and program operations to measure effectiveness of learning through assessments and reporting.
• Support Senior L&D Facilitators and L&D Manager to identify training and development needs across regions, including timing and sequence of delivery.
• Travel to regional hubs to deliver training.
• Attend Home Office OD/L&D Department meetings, work sessions, and trainings both in person and virtually.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Combination of work experience and higher education.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Prior field experience working in an expanded learning program desired.

• Intermediate Learning Management System experience (Canvas, Blackboard, Collabornation, etc.).

• Experience at building individual capacity to deliver learning experiences that result in an increase in service quality to the field.

• Demonstrated ability to create an environment of psychological safety by working collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and students.
• Familiarity with K-12 learning environments.
• Ability to adapt and learn new content and technology (webinars, asynchronous learning, software).

• Detail oriented, problem solver, organized, and thorough before making recommendations.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Adobe
• File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)
• Email, internet, website, and social media platforms
• Use of typical office equipment
