JOB SUMMARY: The Business Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the business development team by providing comprehensive administrative assistance. This position is responsible for managing travel arrangements, coordinating event logistics, scheduling meetings, and performing other administrative tasks related to customer relationship management (CRM). By handling day-to-day administrative duties, the Business Development Coordinator ensures smooth operations, allowing the team to focus on strategic initiatives and client engagement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Efficiency and Coordination
• Provide administrative support that enhances the team’s productivity, including managing travel arrangements, meeting schedules, and event logistics.
• Implement and adjust administrative processes and workflows to improve efficiency and support team needs.

Event Coordination
• Coordinate logistics for events, including setup, attendee management, and post-event follow-up.
• Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, and on-site arrangements in consultation with the business development team and within budget.

CRM Management and Communication
• Support CRM data entry into Salesforce and report generation to ensure accuracy and relevance for business development activities.
• Facilitate clear and timely communication between the business development team and external stakeholders.
• Manage and adjust schedules for meetings, appointments, and team activities to ensure effective coordination.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of administrative support or project management experience, preferably in a business development or sales environment.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems (e.g., Salesforce), project management systems (e.g., Asana), and event coordination is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize activities, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with stakeholders.
• Competence with CRM systems, office software, and other relevant tools.
• Capacity to identify issues, develop solutions, and handle unexpected challenges effectively.
• Commitment to providing excellent support and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Adobe
• File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)
• Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
• Project Management tools (Asana, Microsoft Planner, etc.
• Email, Internet, website, and social media platforms.
• Use of typical office equipment

 

COMPENSATION:  Salary $66,700
