JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP of Functional Excellence, this role works with the Technology teams and other key stakeholders to guide the development and implementation of complex architectures that bridge gaps between business processes, technology, and IT capabilities, driving improved performance and strategic outcomes. This position is responsible for ensuring best practices in the overall design, development, testing and implementation of Think Together’s technology solutions. To that end, the Enterprise Architect will develop and maintain a keen understanding of the technology infrastructure, business processes, and data models. In addition, the Enterprise Architect will build and maintain accurate models of the organizational systems and operations and contribute to the continual improvement process.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain system and data integrity, performant processing, and scalability.
• Develops and maintains architectural and implementation documents, including roadmaps, standards, patterns, and reference architectures in alignment with organizational strategies and business goals.
• Understands and transforms business requirements into scalable and manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
• Participates in the development and maintenance of governance processes, ensuring that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately, and the organization's resources are used responsibly.
• In partnership with the IT leadership team, identifies architectural opportunities and risks, including identification of alternatives and opportunities for innovation.
• Participates in highly complex or impactful efforts to ensure proper response and resolution to incidents, problems, and requests.
• Establishes and maintains departmental communications to understand business activities, drivers, requirements, solutions strategies, and alternatives.
• Partners with stakeholders in response to project and service requests, researching and gathering details to determine desired functional requirements.
• Designs Solution Architectures, including development, testing, runtime, and operations architectures.
• Leverages industry standards and frameworks to guide reliability, scalability, security, and integration decisions.
• Works closely across the organization to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with standards, policies, and architectural plans.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• TOGAF certification highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a complex IT environment with 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of technology solutions preferred.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex systems, using a variety of techniques and solutions.
• Expertise with architecture modeling software (e.g., Achi).
• Expertise in physical and virtual information system infrastructure.
• Expertise of cloud services (e.g., Amazon, Microsoft, and Google) sufficient to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure services.
• Must be able to take initiative and work without direct supervision.
BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:
• Must pass Live Scan (Criminal Background Check via fingerprinting).
• Provide and maintain a clear TB test throughout employment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Moderate Noise (examples: typical office noise)
• Stand, Walk, Sit (in general office environment)
• Computer Screen visual in performance of role
• Lift up to 10 pounds
• Travel up to 10%
COMPENSATION:
- Salary Range $125,000-$135,000
This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
