JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead, Organizational Change & Culture will report to the Organization Development Manager. As a strategic individual contributor and core member of the Organizational Development and Learning & Development Department, will lead change management initiatives and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that change initiatives are coordinated that provides an overall positive change experience organization wide. The work includes the following focus areas – assessing long-term goals, determining how change will impact organizational processes, and developing a change strategy. 

 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Lead culture and climate assessments to understand culture and climate across org and its impact on strategic goals and performance outcomes.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans, including communication plans, listening strategies, training plans, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Meet with key leaders to understand the goals, impacted audiences, and anticipated or potential resistance to change.
  • Develop recommendations based on industry best practices, transformation analysis, and organization design/change management methods and models, to support the organizational priorities and strategic plan.
  • Develop and deliver training to staff on change management principles and techniques.
  • Collaborate with departments and teams to ensure that change management principles are integrated into project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure a data-driven process and outcomes-oriented measures for change priorities and initiatives.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Must have experience leading change with employees, customers, and stakeholders to ensure that change is implemented in a way that minimizes disruption yet maximizes adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, industrial psychology, human resources, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience conducting organizational change management, organizational design, or process improvement for complex organizations with 1,000+ employees.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL TRAITS:  

  • Commitment to equity, excellence, and improving the odds for kids; supporting the needs of students from underrepresented populations.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple ongoing initiatives.
  • Possess design thinking and agile skills
  • Partners with key stakeholders on visioning and cultural awareness and development to drive changes that embrace diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  • Demonstrated ability to create an environment of psychological safety by working collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and leaders.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:  

  • Intermediate level experience with Project Management Software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Adobe
  • File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)
  • Email, internet, website and social media platforms
  • Use of typical office equipment

 

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting), provide a clear TB test

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary range $81,000-$91,000

    This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
